Summary:

This position is an internal sales support role which works collaboratively with other ABC teams to drive continued growth and stronger relationships with new and existing key customers. This role is a critical supporting component to the success of driving services, solutions and technology for customers.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborates with leaders from internal support teams to escalate and resolve issues brought by the commercial leads  

  • Support the advancement of solution selling

  • Responsible for gathering input and compiling information received from key subject matter experts to create customer specific customization for responses and proposals 

  • Managing multiple projects while working under the supervision of management with close attention to deadlines and the ability to collaborate in a team environment

  • Recommends adjustments to internal and external communications based on challenges and successes

  • Develops innovative approaches for process improvements

  • Oversees the New Account set up process, ensuring the information collected and entered into the various system(s) is accurate, timely, and complete

  • Acts as a liaison between the sales team and other internal customers, to help track and provide updates on a variety of operational needs

  • This could include, but not limited to; contracts, reporting, pricing and operations

  • Keeps abreast of sales force trends; builds rapport with internal stakeholders  

  • Assists in the creation of high-level, customized messaging for leadership

  • Key coordinator to assist on tracking and maintaining solution sales progression within key accounts

  • Assist on updating and maintaining customer scorecards based on services, solutions and technology

  • Gathers, synthesizes and organizes industry, market and organizational information

  • Assist in creating whiteboarding sessions with key customers.

  • Supports efforts to align and integrate ABC’s strategic priorities with strategies 

  • Other duties as assigned 

  • Requires training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year Bachelor's Degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education 

  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines 

  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Requires knowledge of Excel basics such as pivot tables, v look ups and other formulas 

  • Requires a minimum of 2 years directly related and progressively responsible experience 

  • An understanding of ABC’s pharmacy operations and current challenges 

  • Thorough knowledge of AB products, programs, and services 

  • Working knowledge of sales management, sales planning and goal setting, successful strategic and consultative selling techniques, and related information 

  • Ability to interpret industry trends and competitive information and develop strategies and tactics to respond to changes in the marketplace 

  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Strong organizational and communication skills 

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, for the purpose of preparing reports and presenting information 

  • Interpersonal skills sufficient to develop and maintain cooperative working and business relationships with others 

  • Ability to work within a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and complex environment proactively seeking guidance on complex tasks, as needed

    *This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
