Responsibilities: AmerisourceBergen Services Corporation - Design, develop and support Custom portal for operational efficiency. Automate and create self-service applications for multiple infrastructure related tasks. Install, maintain, upgrade, and continuously improve Elastic Logstash Kibana, StreamServe and related custom-built java-based applications. Analyze, design, and implement applications built using Java scripts, and spring framework. Scale and optimize performance of front-end applications. Measure application performance using APM platforms like NewRelic, Dynatrace, and AppDynamics. Provide maintenance and support for Backend RESTful APIs. Develop self-service scripts and portal to automate fail-over and related functions via API’s for technologies including Load Balancers, NAS devices, VM instances, and DNS. Respond to and troubleshoot incidents, problems and capacity issues, as reported by users. Support Web access and electronic messaging services and maintain a secure systems environment. In performing such duties, will utilize Jira, Jenkins, and bitbucket. Role is eligible for 100% remote work anywhere in the U.S. #LI-DNI
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering or a related technical field
Skills and Experience:
2 years of experience in the following: IT infrastructure management, including implementing infrastructure components on the following platforms: ISILON, HPE Hardware, and VMWare; installing, maintaining, and upgrading ELK, StreamServe and related custom-built java-based applications; measuring application performance using APM platforms including NewRelic, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics; developing web portals using Java Script; utilizing C, Python, and Pearl for development of automation utilities; analyzing inbound and outbound traffic management on different network devices; implementing and configuring application-level disaster recovery using Zerto application and SyncIQ; developing infrastructure Data Center documentation. In lieu of bachelor’s degree, will accept 2 additional years of experience with IT infrastructure management. Less than 10% travel required to AmerisourceBergen locations throughout U.S.
