Responsibilities of the Order Entry Specialist:

Your responsibilities include:

  • Data Entry:
    • Accepting EDI Tenders:
      • Review and accept or reject Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) tenders in the company’s software system
        • The EDI tender is created and sent by the shipper when goods need to be transported. It includes details about the load and requests for carrier pick-up
    • Entering Orders in EBH System:
      • Accurately enter order information into the EBH system, ensuring data integrity while meeting customer expectations
      • Input critical shipping details such as:
        • Origin
        • Destination
        • Relevant tracking numbers
        • Driver information
    • Entering Maintenance Work Orders:
      • Log maintenance work orders into the system when mechanical repairs are required
      • Maintain an accurate maintenance log for all repair activities
    • Scanning and Uploading Documentation:
      • Scan proof of delivery and proof of acceptance documents and send them to the required recipients
      • Upload documentation to ensure the drivers can receive payment

  • Trailer Tracking:
    • Tracking Load Status:
      • Monitor the status of each load throughout its journey to ensure timely delivery
    • Tracking Trailer Numbers:
      • Track trailer numbers and verify they align with scheduled deliveries and movements, ensuring consistency and efficiency

  • Others:
    • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the team and company operations, adapting to changing needs
