General description

The Account Manager will build and maintain strong relationships with key business clients, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner. This role requires proactive communication, expert problem-solving, and a focus on driving revenue growth through expanded client partnerships. As an experienced Account Manager, the candidate will also mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of client management strategies.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee assigned key accounts, providing advanced-level support and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Develop and implement client relationship management strategies to drive satisfaction and retention.
  • Act as a strategic partner by identifying client needs, proposing tailored solutions, and creating opportunities for growth.
  • Communicate with key clients to monitor expectations, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction with products and services.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts to contribute to revenue growth.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and internal departments, ensuring clear and efficient communication.
  • Analyze client data and performance metrics to recommend and implement improvements.
  • Resolve client queries proactively and develop innovative solutions for complex challenges.
  • Prepare detailed sales forecasts, client reports, and maintain accurate records in CRM systems.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience (4-6 years) in a Senior Account Manager, Strategic Account Manager, or similar role.
  • Expertise in managing high-value clients and navigating complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), including reporting and data analysis capabilities.
  • Consultative sales or relationship management experience for solutions affecting multiple partners and areas of a customer organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems creatively, and make sound decisions independently.
  • Demonstrated adaptability and resilience in dynamic environments.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire trust and build long-lasting partnerships.
  • Familiarity with the industry, including market research, sales principles, and negotiating strategies.
  • Experience creating and executing strategic account plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Ability to lead by example, foster a positive team environment, and mentor junior team members.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Well-developed ability to speak, read, comprehend, and write in English.
