Job Title: Remote Ecommerce Chief Operating Officer (100% Work From Home)

Location: Remote from Latin America

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: $5,000 - 6,000 USD/month depending on experience paid via wire transfer

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm Eastern Time zone

Operating remotely, they strive to combine exceptional customer experiences, and standout products across sales and marketing channels. We’re looking for a visionary Chief Operating Officer to optimize operations, enhance organizational efficiency, and drive sustainable growth in a remote-first environment.

The Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for managing and streamlining our daily operations, ensuring cross-functional collaboration, and driving the execution of strategic initiatives. This role demands a results-driven leader with deep expertise in ecommerce, remote team operations, and operational scaling.


Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership:
  • Oversee and refine all operational processes, including supply chain, logistics, customer service, and fulfillment.
  • Design and implement operational strategies that enhance efficiency, scalability, and profitability.
  • Ensure seamless coordination across departments to meet business objectives.
  • Strategic Planning:
  • Collaborate with the CEO to define and execute the company’s strategic vision and growth roadmap.
  • Identify and prioritize initiatives that drive operational excellence and competitive advantage.
  • Analyze market trends and business performance metrics to make data-driven decisions.
  • Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing remote operations team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Implement systems for performance tracking and professional development.
  • Financial Oversight:
  • Work closely with the CFO to establish and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial goals.
  • Monitor operational expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  • Customer Experience Optimization:
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through streamlined operations and superior service delivery.
  • Implement processes to improve order accuracy, shipping times, and overall customer support.
  • Technology and Process Improvement:
  • Leverage technology to automate and optimize key business processes.
  • Stay informed about ecommerce tools and innovations to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with IT and product teams to ensure robust and scalable platform operations.
  • Risk Management and Compliance:
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring business continuity.
  • Ensure compliance with global ecommerce regulations, including data privacy and cybersecurity.


Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in ecommerce or a related industry.
  • Proven success in managing and scaling remote teams.
  • Strong knowledge of ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento) and operational tools.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience in global logistics and supply chain management is a plus.
