Position: Marketing Associate
Job Type: Full-Time, Remote
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST, Monday to Friday
Compensation: $2,500-$3,000/month (salary based on assessment)

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Associate to join a dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing marketing projects, handling vendor relationships, and executing HubSpot email and social media campaigns. The role also includes light design and layout work for sales collateral and pitch decks using Canva. Strong project management skills, proficiency in Asana, and expertise in digital marketing tools are required. Exceptional English reading and writing skills are essential for effective communication with internal teams and external partners.

Job Description
The Marketing Associate will oversee and execute marketing projects, manage vendor relationships, and handle email and social media campaigns. This individual will support the team with design and layout work, create compelling marketing content, and track key performance metrics. Additionally, they will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth execution of all marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  1. Project Management:

    • Oversee marketing projects from concept through completion, ensuring deadlines, budget, and goals are met.

    • Use Asana to track tasks, deadlines, and deliverables.

    • Create and maintain project timelines, assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve project-related issues.

  2. Vendor Management:

    • Manage relationships with vendors and agencies to ensure high-quality marketing materials and services.

    • Coordinate contracts, payments, and communication with vendors.

    • Evaluate vendor performance and recommend improvements or alternative partners.

  3. HubSpot Campaign Management:

    • Plan, create, and execute email marketing campaigns using HubSpot.

    • Segment email lists and develop personalized content to increase engagement.

    • Monitor and analyze email campaign metrics, providing data-driven recommendations.

    • Coordinate and execute social media campaigns through HubSpot.

  4. Design & Layout for Sales Collateral:

    • Support the marketing team with design work for sales collateral, including brochures, one-pagers, and pitch decks using Canva.

    • Ensure designs align with brand guidelines and effectively communicate product/service offerings.

  5. Content Creation & Communication:

    • Write compelling marketing copy for emails, social media, and other platforms.

    • Proofread and edit content to ensure quality and consistency with the brand voice.

    • Collaborate with the team to develop content strategies that resonate with target audiences.

  6. Performance Reporting & Analytics:

    • Track and analyze marketing metrics, providing reports on campaign performance.

    • Use data insights to refine email and social media strategies for improved results.

  7. Collaboration & Support:

    • Work closely with marketing, design, and sales teams to ensure alignment and execution of marketing strategies.

    • Assist in the development and execution of larger marketing campaigns.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.

  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in marketing, project management, or related field.

  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

    • Proficiency in Asana for task tracking and team collaboration.

    • Experience with HubSpot for email marketing and social media campaigns.

    • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).

    • Basic graphic design skills with experience using Canva.

    • Exceptional English skills (written and verbal) with attention to detail.

    • Strong vendor management and communication skills.

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

    • Self-starter with problem-solving abilities and a team-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with other marketing platforms or CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).

  • Familiarity with SEO best practices, Google Analytics, or other analytics platforms.

  • Knowledge of social media trends and strategies.
