The Role

The Customer Marketing Manager, Advocacy, will play a vital role in driving the development and execution of customer marketing programs. You will work to build and manage relationships with BeyondTrust customers and leverage these relationships to contribute to sales and marketing deliverables, including case studies, references, customer advisory boards, advocacy programs, customer events, and user groups.  

What You’ll Do

  • Assist in executing the customer marketing plan to develop a pipeline from up-selling and cross-selling into the BeyondTrust customer base. 
  • Manage and coordinate BeyondTrust’s Customer Advisory Board meetings, including working with relevant stakeholders to manage memberships and develop purposeful meeting content.
  • Develop customer advocates through white-glove marketing initiatives, including coaching and developing compelling content for events like Go Beyond and GTM Kick-Off.
  • Plan and execute user groups, including aiding in content strategy and promotional campaigns
  • Act as an advisor to cross-functional teams for programs like the Product Advisory Council
  • Assist with the planning and execution of a large, global customer conference (Go Beyond). 
  • Coordinate with sales and customer success teams to help identify new case studies and reference candidates. 
  • Help conceptualize new marketing programs and ideas for our customer base
  • Assist in the execution of customer communication plans, including event invitations, release emails, and customer surveys.  
  • Manage all customer swag and giveaways. 
  • Additional duties as directed by manager. 

What You’ll Bring

  • Undergraduate college degree in marketing, management, or related field of study
  • 4-5 years experience in a customer marketing or advocacy role
  • Experience developing and managing customer relationships. 
  • Strong project management and organizational skills. 
  • Excellent relational skills with both external customers and internal employees. 
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, including writing for different audiences
  • Able to effectively organize, multitask, and prioritize. 
  • Professional demeanor always. 
  • Self-directed, flexible, creative, and comfortable in a dynamic, collaborative office environment. 
  • Support and adhere to the Company’s Core Values. 

Nice To Have

  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools, such as Salesforce.com and Eloqua
