Job Description 
CSCI Consulting is seeking an experienced Capture Manager to lead the process of securing new business opportunities and competitive solicitations. This role involves strategic planning, team coordination, and execution of capture strategies to ensure the successful acquisition of newly awarded contracts. 
 
Responsibilities 
  • Develop and execute comprehensive capture plans tailored to specific opportunities. initiate all strategic opportunity management decisions, milestones, and meetings for opportunities approved to pursue.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape and identify key differentiators to position the company for success.
  • Establish win themes and strategies based on customer needs and objectives.
  • Support in identifying key stakeholders and conducting customer engagement activities such as meetings, briefings, white papers and presentations.
  • Assemble and lead all internal cross-functional teams supporting the pursuit of the opportunity. Works closely with business development, delivery, and proposal teams to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to capture efforts.
  • Guide all subject matter experts in developing technical solutions and be directly involved in the design of technical and management solutions addressing customer issues, associated win themes and price to win strategies.
  • Formulate teaming strategy, structure, and support in the selection of teammates based on an analytical assessment of customer issues, opportunity requirements, and competition.
  • Leads bid/no-bid decision processes, providing intelligence on factors such as risk, resource availability, win probability and alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Contribute to all proposal activities.  
  • Provide regular updates to executive leadership on the status of ongoing capture efforts.
Minimum Requirements 
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, or 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proven track record of success in capture management, business development, or related roles within the defense contracting industry.
  • Experience with federal acquisition regulations and government procurement processes.
  • An inherent self-starter who is self-motivated with strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic planning abilities.
  • Requires the ability to effectively work in a fast paced, high demand environment with a determination for success through effective business development methodologies.
  • High degree of integrity when dealing with sensitive or proprietary information.
  • A solid history of relevant experience working for a Defense Contractor is required.
  • Occasional travel will be required.
Preferred Skills 
  • Be a thought-leader in the government contracting industry.
  • Be a thought-leader in identifying customer-related challenges, trends and solutions.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Capture Manager (CCM).
