This job can be based anywhere in the following countries: France, UK, Spain, Belgium, Germany or Italy.
What you’ll be doing
- Participate to meetings with clients and fully understand their vision, needs, and objectives for events.
- Owning every detail of logistics and destination sourcing, ensuring flawless execution.
- Conducting creative and innovative venue research to find the perfect match for client objectives.
- Preparing polished, compelling proposals and recommendations in PowerPoint, backed by precise budgets.
- Managing supplier relationships, from sourcing and negotiating contracts to delivering exceptional service.
- Confidently presenting proposals and pitching destinations face-to-face to win client buy-in.
Must haves
(We really mean it. Candidates who do not meet the following criteria will not be considered.)
- At least 5 years of solid experience in venue or destination sourcing for corporate events.
- Demonstrated expertise in RFP management, from analysis to response.
- Proven skills in proposal preparation, selling destinations, and creating client-aligned recommendations.
- Resourceful and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Outstanding time management skills with a track record of hitting deadlines.
- A proven ability to juggle multiple projects while staying resourceful and innovative.
- Expeerience with budget creation and management.
- Exceptional negotiation abilities with deep knowledge of suppliers and logistics.
- Fluency in both English and French (No scrambled oeufs at egg, svp.)
- A creative mindset for brainstorming out-of-the-box solutions.
Nice to haves
- Fluency in additional languages—bonus points if you can impress clients globally! (in addition to English)
- A positive attitude, sense of humor, and ability to bring your unique energy to the team.
