Your mission

We are a casual mobile game publisher (Gimica) and leading loyalty platform operator (JustPlay).

We are seeking a mid-level Unity Developer to join our dynamic team, focused on developing and optimizing mobile games. You will play a crucial role in creating, improving, and maintaining our mobile games by collaborating with designers, artists, and other developers to deliver high-quality gaming experiences.Â

This role offers the flexibility to work fully remotely, or hybrid from our office in Munich. Join one of the largest casual games publishers in the market, where our games are enjoyed by millions of players (our solitaire game is one of the top most downloaded card games in the US). This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a both rapidly growing and already massively scaled business.

Job responsibilities

Develop and optimize mobile games using Unity, ensuring high performance across various mobile platforms.
Contribute to the game design process by providing technical insights and feedback.
Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and other developers to implement game features and mechanics.
Stay updated on the latest Unity and mobile development trends to incorporate new technologies and improve existing processes.
Maintain clear, concise documentation for projects and technical solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and issues.

The experience we hope you bring to JustPlay

5+ years of experience in Unity development for mobile games (iOS and Android).
Strong knowledge ofÂ C#Â and experience with the Unity framework.
Familiarity withÂ mobile game optimizationÂ and performance tuning for various devices.
A passion forÂ mobile gamingÂ and understanding of what makes a mobile game fun and engaging.
Experience withÂ GitÂ or other version control systems.
ExcellentÂ problem-solvingÂ skills and a collaborative mindset.
Ideally, experience working remotely or with distributed teams.
Optional but highly valued: Experience in the casual genre (e.g., match 3, puzzle, card games, etc.).
