Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Highlights:
  • Contract type: Independent Contractor
  • Schedule: 20 hours per week, 4 hours per day 9 AM to 1 PM Monday to Friday UK Time


Position Overview:

The company is seeking a part-time SEO and Social Media Manager with 2 years of experience to manage and enhance our online presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in search engine optimization, social media management, and content creation, with a demonstrated ability to deliver measurable results. This role has the potential to transition into a full-time position.


We’re looking for someone who can dedicate focused attention to our brand, preferably with a limited client portfolio.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. SEO Management:
    • Perform keyword research and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
    • Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
    • Optimize Google My Business (GMB) profiles to boost local search rankings.
  2. Social Media Management:
    • Develop and execute social media strategies across multiple platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok).
    • Create and manage engaging posts, including Blog creation and curation.
    • Plan and monitor paid social media ad campaigns to maximize ROI.
  3. Blog Creation:
    • Write SEO-friendly blog posts, articles, and website content.
    • Collaborate with the team to ensure Blog aligns with the company’s voice and objectives.
  4. Reporting and Analysis:
    • Provide regular updates and detailed reports on SEO, social media, and paid ad performance.
    • Use insights from data to adjust strategies and improve outcomes.



Requirements
  • 2 years of proven experience in SEO and social media management.
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with Google My Business optimization and local SEO strategies.
  • Proficiency in planning and managing paid social media campaigns.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to create engaging and SEO-optimized content.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Preferably, a candidate with a limited number of other clients to ensure dedicated focus.


Preferred Skills (Not Required):
  • Design and content creation skills favourable( video editing, graphic design skills)
  • Familiarity with PPC advertising beyond social media platforms.
