  • 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 1 PM to 5 PM Tracy, California, USA, PST

Job Description

We’re seeking a skilled Bookkeeper/Financial Analyst to play a crucial role in our financial operations. In this position, you’ll go beyond traditional bookkeeping, diving into financial analysis and strategic planning for a dynamic healthcare business. You’ll manage our QuickBooks Online system, prepare vital KPIs, and contribute to financial projections that directly influence business decisions. This role offers a unique blend of hands-on financial management and strategic thinking, allowing you to apply your expertise in a meaningful way that supports our mission of enhancing elderly care.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly profit and loss statements to track business performance
  • Handle payroll processing and seamlessly map it to QuickBooks Online
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, maintaining healthy cash flow
  • Develop and maintain weekly KPIs, including metrics like billable hours and average hours per caregiver
  • Collaborate with management to create insightful financial projections, supporting strategic growth initiatives
  • Ensure real-time financial reporting to facilitate agile decision-making in a fast-paced environment
  • Manage invoicing across multiple business entities, maintaining clarity and organization
  • Provide valuable financial insights and recommendations to drive business success



Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience, showcasing a track record of accuracy and efficiency
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, with the ability to optimize its features for our business needs
  • Proven experience in payroll processing and management, particularly in service-based industries
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Demonstrated ability to calculate and interpret KPIs, translating raw data into actionable insights
  • Experience in creating financial projections and using them to guide business strategy
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills, capable of thriving in a remote work environment
  • Experience in healthcare or service-based industries is a significant plus
  • Ability to handle multiple business entities and adapt to the unique needs of each
