Job Description

As a Renewals and Upsell Account Manager at Office Timeline, you will play a vital role in driving revenue growth by managing and expanding relationships with existing customers. Your primary focus will be on renewals and upselling to maximize customer retention and increase account value.

You will be responsible for nurturing relationships, understanding customer needs, and proactively identifying opportunities for expansion within the assigned account portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in account management, a strong sales mindset, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Objectives for this Role
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for customers
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty
  • Maintain accurate customer account information in our CRM system, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Customer Success, and Product, to ensure customer needs are met and issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing customer base to drive revenue growth
Responsibilities

You will:

  • Conduct online software demonstrations for prospective customers
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our sales process
  • Stay up to date on product features, updates, industry trends to provide insights and update customers accordingly
  • Manage the renewal process, including contract negotiation, pricing discussions, and resolving any contractual issues or concerns
  • Track and report on key account metrics, including renewal rates, expansion opportunities, and revenue growth
  • Provide feedback to internal teams regarding product enhancements and features based on customer feedback and market insights
  • Generate sales reports for leadership within Office Timeline and customers
Required Skills and Experience
  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven experience in account management, renewals, and upselling within a software or technology company
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Experience with Office 365 and ability to effectively showcase software features and capabilities to a non-technical audience
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and ability to accurately enter data
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Prior experience in sales, software demonstration, or customer support is preferred
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with project management or timeline software is a plus
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving

  • Flexible hours to stay connected with the US team – work to 1PM PST (Seattle) min 3 days a week
