Job description

Do you believe GIS has the power to save the world? At Oxygen Conservation, we know that data is essential in driving meaningful environmental change. As we expand our impact, we’re looking for a passionate and skilled Geospatial Analyst to join our team. This is your chance to use your passion for all things spatial data to have a genuinely positive impact on nature and show the world just how amazing GIS can be.

ABOUT YOU

Are you looking for the opportunity to use your GIS skills to restore habitats, protect wildlife and combat climate change? Do you thrive on solving complex geospatial challenges? We’re looking for an amazing GIS professional who has the following skills:

  • GIS Genius: Experience using the ArcGIS Platform to perform spatial analysis and create stunning maps. Ideally, experience working with maps and data in ArcGIS Pro, as well as experience managing data in ArcGIS Online, producing web and mobile applications using tools such as ArcGIS Field Maps, Dashboards and StoryMaps.

  • Problem Solver: A knack for finding solutions to unusual geospatial challenges (knowledge of scripting using Python or other coding languages is a bonus but is not essential!)

  • Passionate about Geospatial: Genuine passion for GIS and how it can be used in all areas of Oxygen Conservation to streamline workflows, save time and drive progress.

  • Data-Driven Brain: Sharp attention to detail and high standard for data quality in all your work.

  • Cartographer: An eye for beautiful cartography to ensure our maps aren’t just practical but look amazing, too!

  • And let’s be honest, you have to be really nice too. Sharing snacks on long journeys or a packed lunch whilst out in the driving rain is mandatory!

We believe in recruiting exceptional people and are committed to having a genuinely diverse team drawn from across the country, with a wide range of lived and learnt experiences. So, while we’d love you to have all the skills listed above, we’re also interested in hearing from people at all stages of their career. Please do still get in touch if you only tick some of the boxes but you’re excited and eager to learn more!
