Job Description

As a Part-time Bookkeeper, you’ll play a crucial role in steering the financial ship of this evolving solar power business. Utilizing MYOB accounting software, you’ll manage a diverse range of financial tasks, from BAS preparation to payroll processing. Responsibilities
  • Manage financial data using MYOB, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepare and submit quarterly Business Activity Statements (BAS)
  • Process staff superannuation payments, maintaining compliance with regulations
  • Handle payroll tasks, including processing and documentation
  • Perform regular account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity
  • Collaborate with external tax accountants, preparing necessary financial data
  • Optimize financial processes for a virtual work environment
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving financial efficiency
Requirements
  • Proven bookkeeping experience, preferably in Australian retail or SME context
  • Proficiency in MYOB accounting software
  • Strong knowledge of Australian tax regulations and BAS requirements
  • Experience with superannuation payment processing and payroll management
  • Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy in financial data handling
