Gather, analyze, formalize, and document requirements for the system being developed.
Model and document the domain area, focusing on payment systems, fintech solutions, and payment gateway integration.
Communicate with stakeholders; refine business ideas to the level of a technical specification aligned with other parts of the system.
Participate in development process planning. Manage changes promptly and coordinate with the team on arising issues.
Analyze similar solutions in the payments/fintech industry, track industry development trends, and propose product improvements.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a System Analyst in IT, with specific expertise in the fintech/payments industry or previous experience with payment gateway product
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and processes
Proven experience in analyzing, decomposing, and documenting complex systems, including payment and transaction processing workflows
Familiarity with payment gateway integration, transaction processing, digital wallets, and related fintech services
Analytical mindset with the ability to think through complex financial and transactional systems
Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles and their application in payment and fintech projects
Responsibility, a team-oriented focus, and persistence in solving challenging tasks
Strong self-organization skills, with the ability to manage time and workload effectively
Good English and russian (English is not lower than B1 as it is required to be able to work with technical documentation, read the documentation of the technologies used, and maintain working documentation and records).
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in driving large fintech or payment projects to release
Background in finance, payments, or other industries where data security, regulatory compliance, and data integrity
High-level understanding of payment technologies, protocols, and data formats commonly used in fintech (e.g., HTTP, JSON, SQL, REST, ISO 8583, PCI-DSS compliance, etc.).
