Job role

 

The role will be part of the BMP Program. BMP Program is a central team responsible for governance and financial management of all elements of Business Master Platform (BMP). The Commercial Service Manager will work closely with the division head and collaborate with both the resource management team and the transformation management office. They will be responsible for reporting financial information and will maintain a strong partnership with the controlling team to ensure seamless operations.

 

What you will do

 

  1. Non-Operations Financial Management:

 

Oversee and manage non-operational financial activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with financial regulations.

 

  1. Budgeting:

 

Develop, implement, and manage the annual budgeting process.

Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary data and ensure budget accuracy.

Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.

  1. Forecasting (FC):

 

Prepare and update financial forecasts on a regular basis.

Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for future financial planning.

 

  1. Monthly Delta Analysis:

 

Conduct monthly delta analysis to identify and explain variances between actual and forecasted financial performance.

Provide detailed reports and recommendations based on analysis findings.

 

  1. Pre-Approval of Spend:

 

Review and approve spending requests to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints and financial policies.

Maintain records of approved expenditures for audit and reporting purposes.

 

  1. Provision Posting:

 

Ensure accurate and timely posting of financial provisions.

Collaborate with accounting teams to maintain proper financial records.

 

  1. Asset Management:

 

Maintain an up-to-date overview of company assets.

Monitor asset utilization and depreciation, and provide regular reports on asset status.

 

  1. Business Case Preparation/Update:

 

Prepare and update business cases for new initiatives and projects.

Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and ensure financial viability of proposed projects.

 

  1. Monthly Review Meetings:

 

Facilitate monthly review meetings with division heads, project leads, and service owners.

Prepare meeting agendas, financial reports, and presentations.

Ensure follow-up on action items and decisions made during meetings.

 

What you bring

 

  • Controlling/finance relevant experience
  • Fluent communication in English with Allianz counterparts (phone, messaging and mail)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, team player
  • Strong self-responsible and –initiative personality
  • Working experience in AZ group beneficialDetail-oriented

 

You have

 

  • Thorough understanding of finance, controlling and reporting processes
  • Basic project management skills
  • Experience in creating/designing management reports
  • Understanding AZ Business Cases, Provisions and DL3 processes beneficial
  • Advanced SAP FI/CO knowledge
  • Advanced understanding of ARIBA, Service Now PPM and SharePoint
  • Advanced level of Microsoft Office 2016 package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook)
  • Experience with creation of Business Cases, project documentation and management presentations
