Every day you will…

• Manage Complex Cases: Working with our clinical team, you will utilise your clinical expertise to assess, plan, implement, and review personalised care plans. Ensure clients receive support from a skilled team, promoting independence and improving behaviour through positive behaviour support techniques.
• Undertake client visits / assessments / reviews where appropriate in partnership with the client/Service User/family
• Provide Clinical Leadership: Conduct regular supervisions and team meetings with our agency workers. Offer clinical guidance to workers to ensure adherence to care plans, and address challenges effectively. Maintain daily records and review current documentation to ensuretheir relevance.
• Maintain Excellence in Care: Oversee care packages, ensuring risk assessments, protocols, and care plans are current and aligned with best practices. Collaborate with operations team to staff care packages with appropriately skilled workers.
• Promote Learning and Development: Develop and deliver Learning Disability Awareness workshops for office-based colleagues, upskilling teams and driving professional growth. Be the primary advisor for learning disability service provision.
• Safeguard and Collaborate: Liaise with families, recruitment teams, health professionals, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, person-centred care. Proactively safeguard clients and workers while fostering trusted relationships across all stakeholders.
• Support Incident Management: Maintain accurate records of incidents and assist the complaints team with investigations. Review instances of physical intervention, lead action planning to reduce recurrence, and provide debrief sessions for workers post-incident.
• Drive Clinical Projects: Oversee initiatives within the Learning Disability Health sectors, including reviewing clinical checklists, guidance, and market requirements to ensure compliance and service excellence.
• Stay Current and Compliant: Regularly update your clinical knowledge to stay ahead of healthcare developments. Research and ensure compliance with country-specific requirements for Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland.

To thrive in this role, you must have:

• RNLD Registration
• Current NMC
• Full driving licence with access to own vehicle
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to be proactive, to multitask, prioritise and work well under pressure
• Experience applying critical thinking and decision-making skills using evidence-based rationale and ability to communicate this to colleagues
