As a Data Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and optimizing data infrastructure to ensure reliability, scalability, and readiness for advanced analytics (including Generative AI possibilities). Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to build robust data pipelines and maximize the value of tools like SQL-based databases, Grafana, and Looker.

💡 Key Responsibilities
📊 Data Architecture & Pipeline Development

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines (e.g., ETL/ELT processes) in a SQL environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure data for reporting and AI/ML readiness.

🔧 Integration & Tooling

• Optimize dashboards and reporting layers using tools like Grafana and Looker.
• Automate manual processes and streamline data access.

⚡ Performance Optimization & Reliability

• Monitor and improve query performance, data storage, and retrieval.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues to maintain high availability.

🤝 Collaboration & Communication

• Partner with teams to deliver data solutions that align with business goals.
• Provide clear updates on data projects and timelines to non-technical stakeholders.

• Support Generative AI initiatives by ensuring data is analytics-ready.

💾 Data Pipeline Expertise

• Experience with ETL/ELT workflows and SQL databases (any dialect).

📈 Analytics & BI Tools

• Ability to collaborate with analytics teams to enhance dashboards.

👩‍💻 Programming & Scripting
