What You’ll Do:

We are looking for a Operations Manager to sit within IMG’s Sports Management division, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to clients and enhancing operational efficiency across the business. This position requires a proactive and organised individual who thrives in a dynamic environment, excels at cross-functional collaboration, and is committed to driving continuous improvement.

Please Note:

  • This is a permanent position.
  • This role will be based at Chiswick Park, with some flexibility on remote working as appropriate
  • May be required to attend (and travel to) locations, including other IMG buildings and meetings
  • Unsocial hours may be required, as dictated by the demands of the business schedule

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:

  • Support the day-to-day implementation of operations within IMG Sports Management, ensuring seamless delivery of services to clients.
  • Act as a key liaison between IMG business units and stakeholders, fostering cross-functional collaboration, managing relationships, and delivering efficient solutions that ensure alignment and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and refine best-practice procedures and operating standards to consistently exceed client expectations.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance the efficiency of existing processes and procedures, increasing the business's internal capacity and delivering measurable improvements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols to ensure high standards in project execution and delivery.
  • Ensure operational activities adhere to timelines and remain within scope, resolving potential roadblocks proactively.
  • Optimise the use of platforms and tools to drive the success of business-wide strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to update them on project activities, identifying actionable points from meetings and ensuring follow-through.
  • Oversee the collation and management of internal quarterly reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Prepare regular updates and presentations for senior management, highlighting progress, insights, and key recommendations.
  • Coordinate with key IMG staff and divisions to align on objectives and deliverables.
  • Support the delivery of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) within the Sports Management team, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
  • Organise and lead workshops and meetings within Sports Management and across business units to drive collaboration and innovation.
  • Manage data collection processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency to support actionable insights.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to inform decision-making and improve client and operational outcomes.
  • Support other tasks and projects within the scope of the role as required.

You Will Have The Following Strengths:

  • Proven experience in operations and project management within a fast-paced, client-focused environment, preferably in the sports or media industries.
  • Familiarity of working across multiple divisions to deliver business success.
  • Understanding of the sports and/or media landscape and/or client management, including trends and industry dynamics.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, project planning tools, and platforms to optimise operations.
  • Familiarity with change management principles and delivering new processes and systems.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and the ability to interpret and apply insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and grammatically accurate communications and present confidently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills (e.g., data analysis, pivot tables), Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and online tools.
  • Highly organised and adept at multitasking, with strong prioritisation skills to manage competing demands.
  • Capable of building and maintaining strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical and numerate, with the ability to understand and interpret data for actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated sound judgement and problem-solving skills, with a logical approach to decision-making.
  • Adaptable and resilient, with a positive personality and proactive approach to work.
  • Self-sufficient and team-oriented, able to work independently while contributing to collective goals.
  • Genuine interest in sport, television, programming, and the broader media business.
