Job Description: 

POSITION

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Payment Services Lead to oversee and optimize our payment systems and processes. You will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the company's payment infrastructure, ensuring smooth and efficient financial transactions for customers and the business. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payment infrastructure, ensuring seamless, secure, and scalable transactions across the Fusion product suite.

As InnoSoft’s Payment Services Lead, you will oversee all payments-related operations and execute a strategic sales plan to grow revenue from both new and existing customers (merchants). You will work closely with our Sales and Support teams to ensure customers (prospective, new, and existing) are well supported with their payment processing needs throughout the entire client lifecycle.

The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, industry knowledge, and leadership capabilities to drive innovation and efficiency in our payment operations while supporting the company's growth objectives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The core responsibilities of the position include:

Payment Ecosystem Management
  • Act as the subject matter expert for all Fusion ecosystem payment integrations and related services.
  • Manage third-party relationships with payment integration and processing partners.
  • Conduct training sessions and provide educational materials to Clients and staff on payment processing integrations, tools, systems, and functionality.
Customer Experience Enhancement and Education
  • Educate prospective customers on processing rates/structures as they evaluate our payment services and deliver value to the sales process by working closely with our Sales Account Executives to provide a cohesive sales experience.
  • Assist new customers during implementation by guiding them through payment integration onboarding.
  • Build strong relationships with existing customers by serving as the point-person for all payments-related inquiries, questions, and concerns.
Strategic Planning
  • Develop a deep understanding of the different pricing strategies for our payments-related revenue streams.
  • Stay up to date and evaluate emerging payment technologies and trends (e.g., Buy Now, Pay Later).
  • Advise Senior Leadership on payment trends and strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work with product teams to integrate payment functionalities into software products.
  • Act as the main point of contact for InnoSoft staff payment-related questions and issues and ensure prompt resolutions.
Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Monitor key metrics such as payment success rates, refund rates, and transaction trends.
  • Prepare reports for stakeholders to inform business decisions.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Educational Background
  • Degree in Relevant Fields: Bachelor’s or Master’s in fields like Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
Professional Experience
  • Relevant Work Experience:
    • 3+ years in payments, e-commerce, or FinTech roles.
    • Proven track record of leading or managing payment services for  high-transaction-volume environments.
  • Leadership and Teamwork:
    • Experience managing cross-functional teams or external vendor relationships.
Industry Knowledge
  • Understanding of Payment Ecosystems:
    • Knowledge of payment gateways, processors, acquiring banks, and alternative payment methods.
  • Regulatory Knowledge:
    • Expertise in financial regulations such as PCI DSS

  • Problem-Solving:
    • Ability to address operational challenges and handle escalations.
  • Communication:
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills for liaising with internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers.
