General Summary:
This position is responsible for managing the execution of enterprise 3rd party platform & enrollment solutions strategy in support of annual sales goals. The incumbent will work in close partnership with external and internal business partners sales representatives, external producers, and technology vendors. Additional responsibilities include developing and driving various business projects, data management and analysis, and preparing and delivering presentations to internal and external audiences.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for implementing and managing third party platforms & enrollment systems, that may be of high risk and/or complexity, to support the enrollment solutions strategy determined by leadership.
  • Strongly influences business decisions during partner implementation to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, support business goals, deliver efficiency, and ensure optimal customer experience.
  • Provides creative technical solutions for system-level implementation challenges by maintaining a strong technical acumen of organization’s enrollment solutions.
  • Serves as a technical project manager responsible for establishing a timeline and communicating goals and updates throughout the course of the implementation.
  • Maintains understanding of partner system functionality and set up as it relates to our organization’s benefit offering and connected technology.
  • Maintains understanding of market trends, competitors, and emerging technology vendors.
  • Identify, triage, and communicate partner level technology escalations or breaks.  Prioritize with partner and/or internal teams to ensure appropriate resolution.
  • Work effectively/collaboratively with other functional partners on various projects and business needs i.e., finalist presentations, RFIs, RFPs and other necessary.
  • Conduct and lead Sales Schools, Bootcamps, and large Field trainings for aligned technology partners.
  • Provides and maintains clear internal and external documentation and resources for effective field communication for awareness and ease of implementation.
  • Reviews trends to implement continuous improvement for a specific partner or at the team level.
  • Partner with Partner Relationship Directors to ensure visibility on Strategic Partner activities.
  • Establishes strong, effective, and collaborative partnerships with partner contacts that allows for cultivating a long-term relationship. Represents the team on cross functional projects and business efforts ensuring alignment with the organization and company’s strategic objectives and business goals.
  • Represents the department across the organization, company, and field partners to educate and provide expertise on third party enrollment solutions by having a wide knowledge of all systems and solutions available.
  • Manage licensing and invoicing for select platforms as needed.
  • Assist with relevant internal system testing as needed.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to proactively recommend ideas and execute appropriately.
  • Takes accountability for delivering quality results for each enrollment solution.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management.
  • Miscellaneous travel may be required.

The base salary range for applicants for this position is listed below. Unless actual salary is indicated above in the job description, actual pay will be based on skill, geographical location and experience.

$63,500.00-$120,000.00

Additionally, Unum offers a portfolio of benefits and rewards that are competitive and comprehensive including healthcare benefits (health, vision, dental), insurance benefits (short & long-term disability), performance-based incentive plans, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match up to 5% and an additional 4.5% contribution whether you contribute to the plan or not.  All benefits are subject to the terms and conditions of individual Plans.
