We are currently seeking a Field Application Specialist in charge of Cell counter and microbioreactor.

This position is part of the department of QC & biomanufacturing and cell health located in Tokyo and Osaka and will be remote.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Measure customer samples using particle measurement products (particle size distribution analyzers, cell counters, bioreactors).
• Record measurement data and create reports to submit to customers.
• Support demonstration and presentation of products to customers.
• Respond to inquiries about particle measurement products from customers and distributors.
• Provide instructions on how to use the product and provide post-sales service for the application to customers.
• Management of demo instruments and consumables in the demo room, transportation and delivery of demo instrument for demonstration.

The essential requirements for the job include:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in biology, pharmacy, chemistry, or biotechnology are welcome.
• More than 3 years of practical experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical, biotechnology fields, or equivalent experience; Personas with experience in cell experiments are welcome.
• Business English Intermediate and above (reading, writing); High level of writing skills and communication skills in Japanese
• Computer skills (MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Basic experimental skills (weighing, sampling, dispensing, pretreatment, reagent preparation)

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

• A valid driver’s license preferred with an acceptable driving record

Purpose　目的

顧客からのリクエスト（購入前のサンプル評価、技術的なお問い合わせ対応など）の対応とそれに付随する業務を通じて、当事業部をサポートする。

Responsibilities　責務

• 粒子計測機器製品(粒度分布測定装置、セルカウンター、バイオリアクター)を用いた顧客検体の測定を行う。
• 顧客に提出する測定データ記録、報告書の作成を行う。
• 顧客への製品（粒子計測製品）のデモンストレーションおよびプレゼンテーションのサポートを行う。
• 顧客および代理店からの粒子計測製品の問い合わせへの対応を行う。
• 製品購入後の顧客へ取り扱い説明、アプリケーションのアフターサービスを行う。
• 試験室の消耗品管理、評価機/検体/試薬の運搬・送付対応。

Required Skills  求められるスキル

• 生物、医学、薬学、化学などバイオ業界における３年以上の分析・実験（サンプル分析や装置デモなど）の職務経験、またはそれに準ずる経験（バイオ関連装置の使用経験者を歓迎）
• ビジネス英語　中級以上（リーディング、ライティング）
• パソコンスキル（MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint）
• 日本語での高い文章作成スキル
• 日本語での高いコミュニケーションスキル
• チームメンバーと協調性をもってパフォーマンスを発揮できる
• 基本的な実験スキル（秤量、サンプリング、分注、前処理、試薬調製）
• 細胞培養等の細胞実験経験者歓迎
• 大卒以上の生物、薬学、化学、バイオ系の学位取得者歓迎
