Join Our Team! We're Hiring a Sr. Geotechnical Engineer!

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of professional experience with a strong focus on technical reviews of soil reports up to job preparation. This role is tailored for an architect with expertise in the early stages of bridge design, from conceptualization to design development (DD), as our projects transition to partnered firms for construction documentation (CD) phases.

As a Sr. Geotechnical Engineer, you will bring creativity, technical acumen, and a deep understanding of soil to deliver innovative and structurally sound concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide recommendations and technical reviews of soil reports.
• Assist with job preparation to finalize reports (stamping not required).
• Offer consultation services for field monitoring.
• Address clarifications and deviations of the soil report concerning plans and specifications.
• Conduct material testing and inspection reviews, including reports and results analysis.
• Provide field troubleshooting for compaction issues, moisture-related problems and compression strength challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field,
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of geotechnical engineering experience, with a focus on industrial.
• Proficiency in geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in fieldwork, laboratory testing, and data interpretation.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Familiarity with local geotechnical conditions and regulations is an asset.
