Position overview:

As an Investment Associate, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and analyzing investment opportunities, performing due diligence, and supporting our portfolio companies worldwide. You will work closely with senior investment professionals and contribute to all stages of the investment process, from sourcing to execution. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced team within a rapidly evolving, global industry. We welcome remote candidates with a strong understanding of international markets and experience working across different.

Key responsibilities:

Investment Analysis and Due Diligence

Conduct in-depth research and financial analysis on potential investment opportunities within the iGaming and sports betting sectors, including both B2B and B2C solutions
Assess global market trends, competitive landscapes, and technological innovations to identify emerging opportunities
Build detailed financial models and perform valuation analyses to support investment decision-making

Deal Sourcing and Pipeline Management

Proactively source and evaluate new investment opportunities by developing relationships within the industry, including entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and industry experts across multiple regions
Track and maintain a pipeline of potential investments, with an emphasis on high-growth international markets

Portfolio Management and Support

Support portfolio companies post-investment by providing strategic insights and operational guidance as needed
Monitor financial and operational performance of portfolio companies, identifying areas for potential value creation on a global scale

Presentation and Reporting

Prepare investment memos, presentations, and other materials to effectively communicate investment opportunities and strategies to internal stakeholders.
Contribute to quarterly and annual reports on portfolio performance and fund strategy for management and board review

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CFA) preferred
2-4 years of experience in venture capital, Big4 Valuation/Transaction support department, investment banking, or corporate finance, with a focus on technology, gaming, or consumer sectors
Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills
Familiarity with the iGaming, betting, and/or sports media landscape is highly desirable, but not must
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information effectively
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively with multiple projects
