Starting base salary range is $135,000-160,000. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience. Full benefits are available and the position is also eligible for the Manager/Director level annual bonus program.
Summary of Position:
AVIXA (Audiovisual & Integrated Experience Association) is seeking a dynamic Director of Digital Product to join our team. Reporting to the Vice President, Content Delivery, you will create and manage the successful execution of our digital roadmap, with a specific emphasis on our website, digital community (AVIXA Xchange), and personalizing our users’ journeys across our digital products. You will also influence and support efforts related to the connections between our digital and in-person experiences, and other products as needed.

Who are you?
You’re a passionate product management expert who thrives on creating dynamic, user-first experiences while balancing strategic goals and technical possibilities. With a mix of sharp business acumen and leadership skills, you drive impactful results, managing diverse teams and delighting both internal and external users. Your experience leading content-driven websites and B2B platforms has sharpened your ability to blend innovation with business strategy, and you’re a natural at collaborating across teams—from IT to marketing to vendors. Transparency is your mantra, and you believe data (from analytics, feedback, or experience) is the foundation for success. You love diving into the details, but never lose sight of the bigger picture, always staying curious about digital trends and product management best practices. Bonus points if you’ve got experience in the AV industry or ad-based revenue strategies in small but mighty teams!
What will you do?
As a leader and expert of digital products and experiences, you will work across our product operations, IT, content, marketing, and other stakeholder teams, as well as external vendors, to own the what and why of what we create. You will develop, plan and manage priorities for our digital initiatives, leveraging customer and business insights to optimize for reach and engagement. You will also be empowered and expected to proactively identify and implement opportunities for refinement and efficiency.
We have a number of strategic initiatives that you will lead and/or contribute to, such as the revamp of our core digital experience, expanded integration with our global shows and their digital experiences, and shepherding a natural inclusion of B2B and revenue-driving efforts within our platforms.

Education: Knowledge and experience are prioritized. College/ education may be considered alongside direct experience.
Experience Level: Minimum 8 years’ proven experience in digital product, product development or related fields, overseeing all aspects of product lifecycle. 5+ years in a leadership and/or management role, such as Sr. Product Manager or product lead. Bonus points for non-profit, software, and/or media experience.
Certifications: n/a (Bonus points for Product Management, Agile or Scrum certifications, or CTS)
Technical Skills: Expert fluency with project/ product management software (ClickUp, Trello, Aha!, Jira, etc.), expert fluency in major digital analytics platform (bonus points for GA4 and/or Chartbeat), solid understanding of UX and UI design principles and best practices, expert user of CMS platforms and designer of workflows.
