This is a remote position.

Schedule:

  • 20 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, flexible between 9am to 5pm Houston, TX

Job Description

Dive into the exciting world of social media management as our Social Media Engagement Assistant! In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of boosting client engagement across various social platforms. Responsibilities
  • Cultivate engaging online communities by interacting with followers on clients’ social media accounts through likes, comments, and shares
  • Craft authentic and brand-aligned responses using pre-approved comments and emojis, ensuring a consistent voice across different client accounts
  • Conduct strategic research to identify and follow relevant accounts, expanding our clients’ social media reach and influence
  • Vigilantly monitor social media activity for assigned accounts, providing insightful reports on engagement metrics and trends
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to boost follower counts and enhance post interactions
  • Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and execute creative engagement campaigns tailored to each client’s unique needs
  • Stay ahead of social media trends and platform updates, incorporating new features and best practices into our engagement strategies
Requirements
  • Proven track record with 3+ years of experience in social media management or similar digital marketing roles
  • Demonstrated expertise across major social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
  • Exceptional written communication skills with a keen eye for detail and brand consistency
  • Strong ability to work independently and efficiently manage time across multiple client accounts
  • Adaptability to work within U.S. Central Time business hours, with flexibility on specific schedules
  • Passion for social media and a deep understanding of what drives engagement across different platforms and industries
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box for unique engagement strategies
  • Experience working with local businesses and niche markets is a plus
  • Comfortable with a dynamic work environment and the potential for increased hours as our agency grows
