Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced QA Engineer to join our Autonomy Software Development team. Our innovative USV’s are widely celebrated within the maritime industry. Our products are used for subsea inspections, seafloor mapping and environmental monitoring. Using our USV’s reduces operational costs, human risks, and CO2 emissions 

As a QA Senior Engineer, you are in close contact with our suppliers. You create guidelines and policies that are essential to the transition of our prototype into a ruggedized, industrialized software product. In collaboration with the Engineering manager, Product manager and development team, you ensure the software meets industrial standards and certification requirements. 

You are the ideal candidate if you share enthusiasm for setting new boundaries while you can take others with you in this process. You find yourself in a team consisting of multiple nationalities where creative ideas and initiatives are encouraged. 

Your role  

  • Drive CI/CD initiatives by recommending test automation tools and infrastructure, collaborating closely with developers to establish and sustain robust solutions;

  • Partner with development teams to gain a deep understanding of business needs and define quality requirements effectively;

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for test automation, providing guidance and expertise to both business and technical stakeholders;

  • Actively contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of test automation frameworks, ensuring alignment with CI/CD goals;

  • Demonstrate proficiency with unit and automation testing frameworks such as JUnit, Postman, and similar tools. 

 

Your track record  

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field;

  • Experience developing fully automated CI/CD pipeline, working with CI & source control tools & used Jenkins, GitHub Actions;

  • You have experience with Python and ROS2;

  • Extensive experience in industrial and embedded software quality assurance;

  • Experience in deploying robotic software to the field; 

  • Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and tools; 

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills; 

  • Proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and make decisions.
