Primary Function: Responsible for outreach to professionals in a national territory. Create, maintain, and strengthen professional relationships to achieve inquiry volume and admissions and census goals. Job specific responsibilities can thrive. This position is remote for our Telehealth Group R@HSE.
Position Responsibilities:
• Becoming an expert in an assigned territory and being proficient at understanding and explaining The Renfrew Center treatment philosophy to providers. This will be primarily through remote and virtual methods, regular local appointments and occasional national travel is required.
• Employs analysis and problem solving to achieve goals. In respective territories, identifies the competition and knows how they position themselves.
• Differentiates Renfrew from competition to influence the professional’s decision to refer.
• Effectively communicates and promotes the company and its brands to healthcare professionals, forming new relationships and maintaining existing ones, via cold phone calls, emails and virtual or face-to-face visits or other methods of engagement.
• Represents Renfrew at in person or virtual conferences and events with integrity.
Job Performance:
• Applies best practices in sales to achieve annual goals.
• Performance evaluated on achieving territory –specific monthly/quarterly and annual goals. Develops a yearly plan for assigned national territory that identifies targets and markets that will allow inquiry and admission goals to be attained. Reviews results regularly.
• Prepares for weekly supervision meetings with supervisor proactively.
• Develops and employs appropriate tactics based on targeted goals for assigned territories.
• Illustrates ability to reach out to varied potential referral sources in an initiative-taking manner as well as the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Identifies and develops reciprocal referral relationships.
• Demonstrates the ability to work independently as well as part of a remote team.
• Provides excellent customer service to professionals through regular and on-going communication, effective follow-up, liaison services during admissions process and treatment stays, as well as establishing aftercare resources and cross-referral relationships.
• Assists in finding resources for patients post-treatment, or if necessary, during the inquiry process, in the region.
• Manages all aspects of approved sponsorship opportunities in territory.
Education, Competencies and Credentials:
• Two or more years’ experience in health care.
• Sales experience is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred.
• Attitude: Maintains a positive attitude in the workplace and when interacting with providers. Proactively approaches territory with a strategic “glass half full” approach and willingness to shift to be effective. Demonstrates interest, enthusiasm, and dependability. Open to self-development and training opportunities. Proactively partners with Program Information and site staff to admit a patient quickly and efficiently.
• Organizational Skills: Completes and submits all paperwork in designated time frames according to policies and procedures. Proficient in Salesforce management, Microsoft Outlook, and PowerPoint. Record all activity in CRM to analyze results of time and effort.
• Policy Observance: Adheres to company wide and departmental policies and procedures as per employee handbook
• Communication Skills: Ability to convey written and verbal communication clearly, concisely, and accurately. Keeps accurate records in database. Projects poise and confidence while representing Renfrew in the community.
• Initiative: Displays motivation, ability and self-reliance in thinking, planning, and achieving established goals. Proactively communicates where additional training is needed.
Hours:
Remote worker
• 40 hours a week M-F.
• Travel is required as well as holiday and weekend coverage as necessary.
