We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Product Manager to lead the Buyer Checkout Domain within our Digital Payments Platform (DPP). This role is critical to delivering a seamless, automated, and compliant checkout experience, improving buyer satisfaction, and enhancing operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has a strong background in payment systems, tax compliance, and e-commerce, with a proven ability to execute customer-centric strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and communicate the strategic vision for the Buyer Checkout Domain, aligning with the overall Digital Payments Platform goals. Define and execute a comprehensive roadmap to enhance invoicing, tax calculations, payment processing, and asset release workflows.

  • User-Centered Design: Advocate for the needs of buyers, sellers, and internal teams, ensuring that all product developments improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Drive the creation of user-friendly, scalable solutions in collaboration with engineering, design, operations, and compliance teams.

  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Analyze buyer behavior to identify pain points and opportunities to enhance the checkout experience. Use performance metrics like buyer satisfaction and payment processing efficiency to inform and refine product strategies.

  • Integration and Collaboration: Ensure smooth integration with payment providers such as Stripe and internal solutions. Partner with compliance teams to address tax regulations and payment processing requirements in global markets.

  • Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to develop functional and technical requirements, specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Manage the product roadmap, balancing short-term priorities and long-term strategic goals.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience: 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in e-commerce, payment systems, or checkout platforms. Proven expertise in invoicing, tax regulations, and payment processing workflows.

  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with APIs, financial systems, and compliance-driven product development. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities.

  • Leadership and Communication: Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to influence leadership and drive alignment using data insights.

  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of global indirect taxes, including US sales tax and VAT.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in developing scalable solutions for global payment systems.

  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

  • A customer-first mindset with a passion for optimizing checkout experiences.
