Job description

Italic is creating a world of luxury without labels. We believe that luxury today is exclusionary and all about marketing that hurts its customers and manufacturers. Our mission is to create a new model that enables manufacturers to bypass the legacy luxury supply chain and deliver luxury goods with equivalent or better quality directly to consumers. Our customers come to rely on Italic for our quality, timeless design, and radical value.

Italic is looking for a Lifecycle Manager to lead the development and execution of strategic marketing communications across our customer touchpoints. As we continue to rapidly grow, this is an opportunity for someone who is obsessively customer-first, highly-data driven and creatively experimental to join our team. This role will have significant ownership of our revenue strategy and will work across all departments to create a seamless and effective customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer journey and drive meaningful engagement and conversions across critical touchpoints via email, SMS, and on-site campaigns

  • Drive continuous improvements in repeat purchasing and customer LTV by rigorously iterating and testing

  • Play a critical role in our go-to-market launches by developing multi-pronged campaigns throughout the pre-launch, launch and post-launch windows

  • Partner with cross-functional partners to enhance and drive membership upsell, retention and reactivation; grow Italic Bold into a must-have experience for customers

  • Monitor complex journeys, triggers, and automations with static and dynamic content and communicate insights on a regular basis

  • Create scalable and automated processes for end-to-end campaign deploys, ensuring that they are efficient and measurable

  • Build a consumer research program that will enable better insights around who our customers are and how and when to communicate with them

Requirements

  • 5+ years directly relevant experience and proven success in managing lifecycle marketing programs at a fast-growing e-commerce brand

  • Hands-on experience leveraging a marketing automation or CRM platform such as Klaviyo, SendGrid, Iterable, or Braze

  • Ability to build thoughtful, data-driven marketing campaigns and programs to create highly-engaging, on-brand customer experiences

  • Deep knowledge of audience segmentation, list management, deliverability, including CAN-SPAM/CASL/GDPR requirements

  • Fluency in HTML and CSS

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong Figma knowledge, design skills, strong creative skills

  • Excellent written and spoken communication, as well as copywriting skills

  • Highly collaborative team player with effective time management skills who can balance competing priorities

About Italic

Luxury without labels

Founded in 2018, Italic connects consumers with top manufacturers around the world (“C2M").  Consumers purchase quality goods directly from the same manufacturers as top brands at 50-80% lower prices, while manufacturers use our infrastructure and global distribution to earn higher yields on existing production.

Our culture is built on high performance, high integrity, and high conviction.

We care deeply about surrounding ourselves with ambitious, exceptional individuals and value teamwork over ostentation, fulfillment over balance, and autonomy over compliance.

We do not evaluate race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status in our recruiting process. We don't care about where you went to college or what fancy names are on your resume; we're looking for good people who work hard and enjoy the ride.

Culture

Great Brands Start With Great People

Our culture focuses on performance, integrity, and longevity. We believe that the best brands are not grown through sheer force but rather through deliberate decision-making and persistent effort over a long period of time. We are committed to creating a workplace where talented individuals can thrive in building an enduring, beloved brand that we all take pride in.

Inputs Over Outputs

We value the effort and work that goes into achieving results rather than just the end result. We believe that investing in our people and processes will lead to better outcomes while also creating a more sustainable and enjoyable environment.

Flat Hierarchy

Our company has a flat hierarchy and values the input and ideas of all team members. We believe that everyone has the potential to make a significant contribution to the success of the company.

Small Team, Big Opportunities

As a small team, all employees are expected to take ownership in their work. Some might move faster while others are fine with a slower pace. Those who seek to move faster in their career will be able to do so based solely on merit, contribution, and performance.
