Job description

The Real World Evidence Director reports directly to the VP of Global Market Access. This person will contribute to the achievement of Market Access’ strategic goals by developing plans to execute health economic, value messaging, reimbursement and coding strategies based on robust understanding of physicians, business/practice managers, payers and their decision-making systems.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Payer Strategy and Value Proposition: Provide leadership on payer strategies and develop communication materials, with a focus on delivering impactful Value Proposition presentations.
  • Internal Communication: Establish clear communication strategies to ensure internal Telix partners are consistently informed on Market Access activity and performance.
  • Product Strategy Oversight: Manage multiple product strategies, including new products, and outline strategic approaches for generating necessary evidence and research outcomes.
  • HEOR Data Development: Develop and effectively communicate HEOR (Health Economics and Outcomes Research) data to internal U.S. counterparts.
  • Reimbursement and Coverage Strategy: Offer strategic guidance on economic considerations and commercial issues related to reimbursement, coverage, and contracting for Telix products.
  • Research Collaboration: Collaborate on future asset study designs and real-world evidence generation.
  • Market Access Team Training: Train Market Access team members on payer groups and their customer impact, ensuring they deliver influential and effective presentations.
  • Payer Interaction Support: Support the Market Access team in all payer engagements, providing strategic guidance and feedback on their approaches.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze Market Access performance and communicate key findings to relevant internal stakeholders.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; life sciences degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in payor/provider relations within pharmaceutical sector required; medical device may be considered.
  • 5+ years of Radiopharmaceutical experience preferred
  • Global experience preferred
  • Coding, coverage, and reimbursement experience within pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
  • Strong understanding of Payer economics
  • Must understand how to impact process with payors for obtaining coverage decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to be successful in consultative selling situations/markets
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to travel at 50% level domestically
