About Midnight:

IOG's Midnight Tribe is a business technology provider and core contributor to the Midnight Network, a blockchain platform for developing decentralized applications that safeguard personal and commercial data. The Midnight Network is the first blockchain to offer programmable data isolation by leveraging zero-knowledge (ZK) proofs to enable selective disclosure of what information is visible on-chain and is designed to help developers implement necessary business policies, such as meeting regulatory requirements.

What the role involves:

We are looking for a talented Business Systems Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of Midnight’s products and technology. In this role, you will analyze, enhance, and automate business processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, implement technology solutions, and drive continuous improvement in workflows. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on organizational efficiency and effectiveness and reports to the IT Director.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather and document requirements for optimizing business workflows, implementing enterprise solutions, and ensuring seamless cross-functional integration.
  • Analyzing current business processes to identify opportunities for improvement, efficiency gains, and automation.
  • Utilizing technology to streamline repetitive tasks and creating integrations between various corporate systems.
  • Supporting the selection, customization, and implementation of technology solutions that align with Midnight’s operational needs and growth objectives.
  • Conducting thorough testing to confirm that enterprise technology implementations meet business requirements and function effectively.
  • Driving a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and optimizing operational processes.
  • Partnering with departments across the organization to ensure alignment between technology solutions and business goals.

Requirements

Who you are:

  • Skilled in full-stack development, with experience designing and integrating end-to-end software solutions.
  • Proven expertise in analyzing and optimizing business processes, integrating software systems, and automating tasks to improve efficiency.
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated success in a similar role, focusing on process optimization and technology integration.
  • Familiarity with software systems, automation tools, and compliance considerations; knowledge of blockchain technology is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with project management and data protection is advantageous.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
