DevOps Engineer - Stockholm

As of September 2024, TeamEngine has joined forces with Board Intelligence, the London-based AI board software and advisory firm, to bring Boards all around the world the benefit of their combined products and geographic reach. Hence, whilst this role will work for TeamEngine you will be working with the wider Board Intelligence team.

As a DevOps Engineer at Board Intelligence in Stockholm, you’ll bring energy, proactivity, and a passion for staying ahead of AI-driven developments in the DevOps space. With expertise in Google Cloud and AWS, coupled with strong Terraform skills, you’ll play a pivotal role in building and automating scalable cloud infrastructure across multiple sites and providers worldwide. As the company experiences rapid expansion—through acquisitions and the integration of new tech stacks—you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring seamless scalability and innovation, enabling us to push into new countries and maintain our trajectory of exciting growth.

Key Responsibilities Of The Role

  • Support the design and implementation of multi-cloud infrastructure across Google Cloud and AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Assist with the migration of on-premise systems to the cloud, automating workflows and maintaining hybrid setups as needed.
  • Manage Kubernetes clusters using provider-managed services, optimizing containerized workloads for efficiency.
  • Contribute to critical upgrades, patching, and cleanouts to mitigate risk and modernize legacy infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to align infrastructure with business goals, driving innovation and seamless integration.
  • Help establish best practices for CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and system monitoring.

Requirements

What skills and experience you might have

We prefer to work with the best talent regardless of whether you are familiar with all of the tools that we use. We don’t need you to be familiar with everything on this list but experience in some or all of these areas will be useful and a willingness to dive in and learn the others, essential.

  • Experience building and managing cloud environments, ideally across Google Cloud and AWS.
  • Familiarity with Terraform and an understanding of infrastructure as code
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized workloads
  • Hands-on experience with automation and optimizing infrastructure for scalability and performance
  • Understanding of modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD and system monitoring
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
