About This Role
The Global Director, Succession, Assessment, and Performance is a global thought leader in the strategy, design and execution of Carrier’s Talent, Succession, Assessment and Performance practices to drive measurable talent outcomes including bench strength, internal mobility, performance, development, engagement, and retention.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Talent Partners, HRBPs, and business leaders to:
Lead Carrier global strategy and practices for “always on” talent review, succession and high potential development in alignment with business strategies. Lead succession strategy and approach for ELT, CEO and BOD.
Lead Carrier global strategy and practices for performance management with priority to goal alignment, transparent feedback and differentiated development.
Serve as champion for Leading People The Carrier Way including talent strategy, philosophy, behaviors, practices and metrics.
Lead Carrier’s Talent Management Institute and other talent programs to develop talent capabilities for HRBPs and business leaders.
Lead global executive coaching practice including intake, selection, contracting and close out to ensure ROI.
Lead Carrier’s global assessment practice to build top talent self awareness, development, and readiness for future roles.
Partner with Learning team to identify criteria and nomination approach for Carrier’s high potential programs; contribute to content design including assessment approach.
Partner with Executive Talent Acquisition team to enable best in class selection practices using success profiles, cross company slating, behavioral interviews and predictive assessment.
Partner with HR Technology team to optimize Workday talent capabilities including talent pool management and talent marketplace.
Design and lead CEO and ELT high potential exposure programs.
Partner with People Analytics team to manage global talent reporting and dashboarding; apply insights to drive talent outcomes.
Manage direct reports; set clear expectations, provide coaching, and drive engagement to achieve team goals and metrics.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
12+ years of experience in Talent Management or strategic HR role in a large global organization
5 + years of experience in talent assessment, succession, and high-potential development at a global level
3 + years of experience working with C-Suite executives and other senior leaders.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree preferred, preferably in I/O Psychology, Org Development, or related.
Demonstrated ability to lead talent strategy and drive innovation.
