Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Amazon Account Director specializing in the Sports and Outdoor sector to join our rapidly growing remote team. This pivotal role will focus on developing strategic initiatives and driving the success of our distinguished client portfolio within the Amazon marketplace. By collaborating with a talented team, you will play a critical role in telling our clients’ brand stories while achieving substantial growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive leadership for the Sports and Outdoor category, encompassing full P&L responsibility.
  • Formulate and implement strategic plans that align with clients' overall objectives for their Amazon presence.
  • Guide and mentor a team of Client Success Managers to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service and measurable results.
  • Drive business development efforts by leveraging existing connections to attract new clients in the Sports and Outdoor category.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert insights and best practices to enhance their Amazon marketplace strategies.
  • Monitor and assess key performance indicators in sales, marketing, and inventory to guarantee client success.
  • Identify challenges and devise strategic solutions to meet client demands effectively.

Required Skills

  • Over 5 years of experience in sales or marketing positions within the consumer products industry, with a focus on outdoor products.
  • Minimum 3 years of direct experience with the Amazon platform (Seller Central or Vendor Central), showcasing deep expertise.
  • Strong understanding of how Amazon integrates with various trade channels, including big-box retailers and independent distributors.
  • Proven capability to transform innovative ideas into actionable business results.
  • Hands-on approach to problem-solving, with a willingness to deeply engage with client operations.
  • Skilled in influencing stakeholders across all organizational levels, including executive leadership.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills that ensure accuracy in all tasks.
  • Expertise in managing large-scale, complex projects effectively.

Qualifications
