What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Handle all inbound customer inquiries through various channels and provide timely resolutions
  • Document all contacts, issues, actions taken, and results accurately within the patient accounting system
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, office staff, and various departments to clarify customer service inquiries
  • Prepare special reports to document billing and follow-up services as directed by the manager
  • Assist in training new employees and provide relief support as needed based on workload demands

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or business administration highly desired
  • At least one year of experience in a healthcare environment performing customer service or financial counseling
  • Knowledge of insurance and governmental programs, regulations, and billing processes
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational abilities
  • Must possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Demonstrated call center experience and ability to utilize voice/data equipment effectively
  • Multilingual skills and basic computer skills are highly desirable
  • Completion of regulatory/mandatory certifications and skills validation competencies preferred
