Job Overview

TIG Risk Services is actively seeking a licensed Private Investigator to join our esteemed team in the Oshkosh/Appleton area. As a key member of our national investigative firm, you will engage in critical surveillance operations related to worker’s compensation, auto liability, general liability, and both short and long-term disability claims.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive surveillance on various claims.
  • Execute activity checks and perform thorough background investigations.
  • Take statements and carry out detailed scene inspections.
  • Prepare precise reports outlining your findings.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity throughout all investigations.

Required Skills

  • At least two years of surveillance experience.
  • Familiarity with SIU-related functions, including statement taking and scene inspections.
  • Exceptional report writing skills.
  • Strong verbal communication abilities.
  • Capability to perform both stationary and mobile surveillance in diverse environments, including those with high crime rates.
  • Comfort with pretext investigations.

Qualifications

  • A current Private Investigator license in Wisconsin is mandatory.
  • Minimum of two years’ relevant experience in surveillance activities.
