Job description

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced SQA Software Tester to join the NCCRIS project at NCDIT-Transportation on a one-year remote contract. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through comprehensive manual and automated testing methods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct both manual and automated testing for new releases and upgrades of applications developed for the NCCRIS Project and by the NCDIT-Crash Team.
  • Collaborate effectively with application development teams to execute testing activities.
  • Engage in various testing tasks, including Unit Testing, System Testing (both Manual and Automation), Component Integration, System Integration, Regression, Performance, and Disaster Recovery Testing.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in VB scripting for the creation and modification of test case code.
  • A strong background in Automated Testing tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Cypress, and Selenium, with familiarity in Jira, OpenText ALM, and UF.

Qualifications

  • A proven track record in software testing with at least 5 years of relevant experience in software quality assurance.
  • Strong expertise in automation testing and scripting languages is essential.
  • A relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
