Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to lead our business development efforts. This role involves supervising a team of Business Development Executives, driving strategic growth initiatives, and ensuring the successful acquisition and retention of clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within the IT industry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to engage effectively with US-based clients.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership:

Supervise and mentor a team of Business Development Executives.

Set clear performance goals, provide regular feedback, and support the professional growth of team members.

Conduct regular team meetings to align strategies and review progress.

Strategic Planning

Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company growth objectives.

Identify new business opportunities and markets, and devise plans to target them.

Collaborate with senior management to align business development initiatives with company goals.

Client Engagement

Build and nurture relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

Oversee the client acquisition process, ensuring that the team delivers a high level of service and meets client expectations.

Engage with high-profile clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutions.

Sales Management

Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met.

Provide guidance and support to the team in closing deals and negotiating contracts.

Develop and manage a sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of business opportunities.

Market Research & Analysis

Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.

Conduct research to identify potential clients and emerging market trends.

Use data-driven insights to refine business development strategies and improve lead generation efforts.

CRM & Reporting

Oversee the maintenance of accurate client records and sales activities in the CRM system.

Prepare and present detailed reports on business development activities, sales progress, and market trends to senior management.

Ensure the team adheres to best practices in CRM usage and data management.

Collaboration

Work closely with the marketing team to align campaigns with business development goals.

Partner with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of business development processes and tools.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in IT, Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales management, preferably in the IT industry.

Proven track record of leading successful business development teams and achieving sales targets.

Strong understanding of IT services and solutions.

Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage a team across different time zones.

Flexibility to work during US business hours.
