AR Cash Reconciliation Specialist - Skilled Nursing

Location: Remote (100% remote after initial training period)

Preferred candidates based in Texas for mandatory quarterly meetings at our Corporate Support Office in San Antonio, TX.

Compensation: $24-$25/hour

Who We Are Seeking

• Minimum 1 year of experience in AR cash posting and reconciliations within Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, or Healthcare.
• Knowledge of private pay practices.
• Strong understanding of 835 cash files and experience using Payor Portals to search for remits.
• Ability to apply electronic and manual payments daily to maintain current A/R balances.
• Experience with Medicaid and Hospice billing, including monthly follow-up on outstanding balances.
• Proficiency in monthly verification of Applied Income and Eligibility Status of Medicaid residents.
• Ability to participate in A/R close functions and attend weekly A/R meetings to review outstanding balances by payer.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Post payments into cash reports.
• Maintain accurate A/R balances through diligent reconciliation.
• Support monthly A/R close processes and timelines.
• Collaborate with billing teams to resolve outstanding Medicaid and Hospice balances.
