Job description

We are seeking an experienced Financial Consultant with in-depth expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modules, project management, and accounting, coupled with a solid understanding of D365 implementation and technical processes.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Module Expertise:
Configure and implement core financial modules in D365 F&O, including:
General Ledger (GL).
Accounts Payable (AP).
Accounts Receivable (AR).
Fixed Assets.
Cash and Bank Management.
Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and localization requirements.
Support regulatory compliance for various regions, such as Saudi Arabia.
Project Management and Accounting Module:
Set up and configure project management and accounting features, including:
Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
Budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
Manage module integration with:
Time and Expense.
Billing.
Revenue Recognition.
Oversee project management workflows, contracts, and billing processes.
Full Project Lifecycle Implementation:
Lead end-to-end implementation of D365 F&O projects.
Perform gap analysis, requirements gathering, and process mapping.
Manage data migration, testing, go-live activities, and post-implementation support.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and business stakeholders.
Document functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Deliver high-quality client interactions and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Technical Awareness:
Collaborate with technical teams on workflows, customizations, and data migrations.
Leverage the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) for process automation and optimization.
Understand system architecture and development processes in D365, including X++ language and Visual Studio.

Required Skills And Experience

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in MS D365 F&O Finance.
In-depth knowledge of financial and accounting modules.
Proficiency in financial reporting tools such as Management Reporter and SSRS.
Strong understanding of financial and project management KPIs.
Experience with budgeting, resource allocation, and forecasting.

Preferred Technical Skills

Basic knowledge of X++ programming language, Entity Framework, and Data Entities in D365.
Hands-on experience with Data Management Framework (DMF) and integration tools like Azure Logic Apps, OData, and Dual Write.
Ability to create and troubleshoot workflows within D365 F&O.
Familiarity with Visual Studio for customization and development in Dynamics 365.
