The Duracell Summer Internship Program provides students with the opportunity to gain real-world experience while working and collaborating with a diverse pool of talent on cross functional assignments.

The Duracell Internship Program provides students with the opportunity to gain real-world experience while working and collaborating with a diverse and international pool of talent on cross functional assignments.

The Costco sales intern will work closely with the Costco Global Sales team in the areas of reporting, analytics, conduct Costco sales fundamentals tracking, review digital advertising, and ad-hoc requests.

Ideally this is a year long internship. Hours will vary based on student’s availability between coursework commitments.

Responsibilities

  • Report Generation and Analysis – assist in creating and maintaining weekly reports for Costco Team utilizing PowerBI and Unify. Analyzing brand and category results and communicating data insights to Sales Team. Focus on opportunities of Costco international markets and provide finidings with Sales director.
  • Sales Fundamentals – Lead Club audits utilizing Field Agent and Unify systems to identify opportunities with merchandising and inclub execution depending on market needs (US, MX, UK).
  • Competitive Assessment – Tracking and documentation of batteries category price and promotional activities at Costco different international markets. Track and analyze all battery brands executions at Costco.
  • Market Visits – conduct in-person Costco store checks for Duracell battery merchandising

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in University of Washington or Seattle University actively pursuing a 4-year degree in any business related program.
  • Must be located in or close to Seattle, WA
  • Excellent analytic skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems
  • Ability to multi-task, be organized and maintain strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively
  • Ability to work in a diverse environment and interact with others globally
  • Active participant on a team or in a collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated leadership through school and/or community involvement.
  • Strong Knowledge/Skills of Microsoft Excel
  • Power BI a plus
