Job description

We're looking to scale our sales team to continue growing our customer base. The ideal candidate will have strong outbound sales skills and a solid understanding of or interest in the food & beverage industry, in order to help us scale our supplier base. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for outbound sales activities and customer acquisition. Your duties will include cold-calling and emailing prospects, nurturing relationships, and promoting Torg's platform to drive business growth. You will collaborate with a small team of high-performing sales and technology professionals and work directly with leading food & beverage manufacturers and retailers across Europe and beyond. You are required to be based in Bulgaria, with preference for candidates based in Sofia.

Tasks

Use HubSpot for cold calls and emails to generate new sales opportunities.
Conduct 80+ outbound calls per day to identify and acquire new suppliers for the platform.
Schedule meetings between prospective customers and business development managers.
Drive the onboarding, adoption, retention, and overall success of our suppliers and buyers.
Act as the voice of our customers, providing proactive recommendations and feedback to optimize platform use.
Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities.

Requirements

Fluent in English; additional European languages such as German, Spanish, French or others are a plus.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a sales role with a proven record of meeting or exceeding targets, preferably with experience working remotely on outbound sales.
Possess a growth and development mindset; not afraid to pick up the phone.
Demonstrated ability to establish relationships and communicate effectively.
Experience in successfully managing customer relationships and satisfaction.
Proven time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently and remotely.
Based in Bulgaria, with work authorization and ability to attend bi-yearly trainings in Sofia.
