Co-Founder & CEO, New Venture: AI-Powered Game Debugging Assistant

Summary

We are launching an AI-powered assistant to help test and debug games faster, to enable studios to launch high quality games on-time. Testing is a critical part of ensuring a game’s success, but testing and debugging is still a very manual and time consuming process. As games are getting larger and more complex, it’s increasing the volume of testing required, which in turn is leading to more time spent by developers fixing bugs. Meanwhile the tools used by developers & testers have not significantly changed. We are looking to change that.

This venture has been significantly de-risked, with product-market fit verified, an early commercial pipeline including a few game studios identified who are interested in collaborating to build MVP, and investors ready to fund a seed round.

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and highly motivated Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to bring this venture to success. The CEO will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, operational management, and growth of the company. This opportunity requires a visionary leader with a proven track record at the intersection of gaming and technology.

Summary of the role 

We are assembling a dream team of entrepreneurs and technologists, and we are now looking for an accomplished co-founder & CEO to lead the venture. If you are up for it, you will:

• Lead the development and execution of the strategic vision
• Provide overall leadership to the organization, working across all aspects and functions of the business (sales, product, tech, marketing, finance, etc.)
• Build and lead a high-caliber team of “A” player early hires
• Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy, including establishing commercial relations and securing clients in the gaming space
• Leverage your network and industry knowledge to initiate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders
• Lead the fundraising efforts in collaboration with the founding team and Diagram

Background & Experience

• Track record of building and leading a successful business as a CEO, President, COO, CTO, or Technical Executive with P&L ownership within an organization
• Previously took a business or product from 0 to 1
• Strong experience in the gaming industry, with deep knowledge and experience of game development technology
• Strong network of contacts in the gaming industry and a track record of successful partnership facilitation
• Excellent communication & negotiation skills with the ability to present and persuade at all levels of an organization
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and business development
• Relevant industry experience: Video Game Development, Gaming Development Tech, Video Game QA/QC

Other Desirable Assets

• Experience working in B2B SaaS in gaming
• Experience being founder/co-founder or early hire in a venture backed company
• Past experience developing and testing video games
