What you’ll do at Elekta
At Elekta, we don’t just build technology. We build hope for everyone dealing with cancer. In this position as Field Service Software Specialist, you will be responsible for the application and technical support of Elekta Software including OIS (Oncology Information System), associated third-party products, and support of clinical users.
This position is also responsible for handling on-site and remote inquiries.
Responsibilities
In addition to the above, the Field Service Software Specialist will also take on responsibilities such as:
- Responsible for independently performing routine troubleshooting, repair, and issue resolution on Elekta SW products with an 80% success rate of diagnosing the problem while working within the escalation procedures.
- Provide on-site and remote support.
- Provide technical problem ownership within assigned region.
- Work on complex problems within the application to better identify solutions or workstreams.
- Work within the defined practices and policies regarding selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Communicate effectively with the remote Support team, customer IT, and clinical staff.
- Assist the Sales and Customer Service teams with technical advice.
- Participate in group projects related to Company processes.
- Provide expert knowledge of Company products and Service policies and procedures.
- Utilize Company tools to improve the customer experience and team metrics.
- Obtain and maintain knowledge of all new products.
What you bring
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical or customer support experience with MOSAIQ or EMR is preferred.
- Network Computing experience with Citrix, Virtualization, Windows Administration, and Network Administration.
- Knowledge of and a good understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Bi-lingual (French and/or Spanish) is preferred.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to organize and prepare reports.
- Ability to uphold Elekta’s philosophy and all policies and procedures by maintaining appropriate controls to assure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Must have and maintain an active driver’s license in the home state.
