Oracle Cloud Financials Consultant

Sierra-Cedar is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Financials Consultant to join our robust Cloud practice. The ideal candidate will have proven end-to-end Cloud project experience leading core module areas of expertise, aligning key deliverables and milestone metrics, and delivering comprehensive business solutions to clients. As a key member of our motivated team, you will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and consultants to develop, plan, and implement Cloud solutions across our growing practice.

This position requires approximately 30% travel to client sites (nationwide) as well as remote work from your home office within the United States only – International locations will not be considered. .

Responsibilities

• Provide functional consulting services by leading clients through the entire Cloud application services implementation lifecycle
• Help clients identify business requirements and map them to the Financials Cloud functionality
• Conduct Functional Design Workshops with clients
• Identify functionality gaps and work with client to determine how to address
• Advise client on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems
• Configure the Fusion Applications to meet client requirements and document application set-ups
• Write business requirement documents for reports, interfaces, data conversions, and application extensions
• Assist client in preparing validation scripts and testing scenarios and develop test scripts
• Lead migration of configuration, integrations, and extensions to production
• Effectively communicate and drive project deliverables
• Complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
• Interact with the project team members responsible for developing reports, interfaces, data conversion programs, and application extensions
• Provide status and issue reports to the project manager/client on a regular basis
• Share knowledge to continually improve implementation methodology
  
  

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree is required at a minimum
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a Functional Consulting role
• Oracle ERP Cloud experience with any or all of the following modules: AP, AR, FA, EX and CM
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud through at least two end-to-end lifecycles
• Ability to work with other functional consultants through the different project phases
• Must be willing to travel as needed to client sites
• Experience with Oracle Cloud GL, Budgetary Control and SLA is a plus
• Public Sector experience (local governments, city, county, state) preferred
• Must already reside in the US
