Overview

Job Description

We are seeking a Claims Recovery Representative with a focus on Workers Compensation Subrogation. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, investigating, and negotiating recovery of amounts owed to the company due to contract, common law, or statute.

Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of lower to moderate exposure subrogation claims, providing quality claims service and appropriate resolutions.
Conduct thorough investigations to identify responsible parties and pursue recovery from them.
Issue demands and/or lien filings timely, and regularly contact responsible parties and/or their insurers to ensure prompt and equitable payment and/or negotiated offsets.
Review open and closed Workers Compensation claims and evaluate for subrogation potential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
At least two years of related work experience as a workers compensation recovery professional.
Knowledge of insurance contracts, statutory and common law, as well as state statutes and case law in key jurisdictions.
Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.

Day-to-day

The successful candidate will work remotely and will be responsible for managing a caseload of subrogation claims, conducting investigations, and negotiating recoveries from responsible parties and their insurers.
