Job description

Position Summary


The Regulatory Specialist for Global Auto Care is responsible for product regulatory compliance, regulatory research, registrations and chemical database management in Europe for our auto care products (Appearance, Performance and Air Freshener), to help support product development and market growth.


Responsibilities



Universal Accountabilities

  • Safety Data Sheet development
  • Chemical and product registrations
  • Reviewing product and packaging safety and regulatory labelling against checklist
  • Regulatory research
  • Maintain technical and safety documents in an online database

Specific Accountabilities

  • Safety Data Sheet development and maintenance
  • Assisting in providing basic chemical use advice to Research and Development during product formulation
  • Researching regulatory requirements
  • Modification and maintenance of database for product information
  • Assist in obtaining information from suppliers and TPMs
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

  • Excellent communication both verbal and written, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Qualified to A-level standard minimum or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience is preferable with an understanding of chemical regulations and Safety Data Sheets (Europe) pertaining to product ingredients, classification, labelling and packaging
  • Detail oriented to produce accurate and timely results
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft IT packages
  • Experience in consumer goods (preferably chemical)
