Job Scope

The Head of Demand is responsible for developing and executing innovative customer acquisition strategies, building partnerships, and creating scalable marketing channels to drive growth while maintaining strong unit economics across both online and offline platforms.

Job Summary

As our Growth Marketing Leader, you'll have the autonomy to reshape our marketing strategy and build new customer acquisition channels from the ground up. You'll work directly with leadership to test, iterate, and scale what works while maintaining healthy unit economics.

  • Develop and execute creative customer acquisition strategies beyond traditional paid search, including offline channels and grassroots initiatives
  • Build and analyze attribution models to understand true customer acquisition costs across channels
  • Create partnerships with property management companies, home warranty providers, and other strategic partners
  • Design and implement hyperlocal marketing experiments that can scale nationally
  • Build relationships with local communities and identify opportunities for brand activation
  • Create guerrilla marketing campaigns that turn our service vans and technicians into powerful local marketing assets
  • Design and launch innovative referral programs that turn satisfied customers into brand ambassadors
  • Develop content strategies that leverage our technicians' expertise to dominate local search results and social media
  • Build micro-influencer networks with property managers, real estate agents, and home improvement professionals
  • Create and execute "break glass in case of emergency" marketing programs that can drive immediate demand in underperforming markets
  • Design creative ways to leverage our service data to generate PR opportunities and thought leadership
  • Launch experimental offline-to-online acquisition funnels using QR codes, SMS, and location-based marketing
  • Identify and capitalize on seasonal trends and weather patterns to predict and drive demand

  • Proven track record of driving growth through multiple channels, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Experience successfully launching and scaling new marketing channels beyond traditional paid search
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with attribution modeling across online and offline channels

  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to move quickly from ideation to execution
  • Background in local or hyperlocal marketing
  • Experience with home services or other service-based businesses
